Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 October 2026

These terms apply when you use the Annapoorna Home Kitchen website or app, place an order, or start a subscription. By placing an order or starting a subscription you agree to them. Please also read our Refund & Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of these terms.

You must be 18 or older to place an order. If you are younger, a parent or guardian must place it for you.

1. Who we are

Annapoorna Home Kitchen is a sole proprietorship owned by Adhura Adhusmita Mishra (mishra.adhura@annapoornahomekitchen.in), who is also the registered food business operator. We cook home-style meals in our home kitchen at Bachupally, Hyderabad, Telangana 500090, India, and deliver them nearby or hand them over for pickup. We hold a valid FSSAI registration. Udyam Registration No. UDYAM-TS-20-0101766. Customer care: +91 99664 56836, support@annapoornahomekitchen.in.

2. Menu, prices and placing an order

  • Before you pay, checkout shows every amount: dishes, any discount, delivery fee and GST. There are no hidden charges. The prices shown at checkout are the prices for your order.
  • Menu, prices and availability can change. A change never affects an order you have already placed.
  • We take orders only during the ordering hours shown on the Order page, and up to a set quantity of each dish.
  • Delivery orders may have a minimum food total, shown on the Order page. Takeaway has no minimum.
  • Your order is a request until our kitchen accepts it. When it is accepted you see a "ready by" time and, for delivery, an "at your door by" time.
  • If the kitchen cannot accept your order in time, it is cancelled automatically and anything you paid online is refunded in full.
  • If a price or item is shown wrongly because of a clear mistake, we may cancel the order and refund you in full; we will tell you why.

3. Payment

  • You can pay online (UPI, card or netbanking) through our payment partner Razorpay, or by Cash on Delivery where offered. We never see or store your card or UPI PIN.
  • We are not GST-registered at present, so GST is shown as ₹0 on your bill. If this changes, the bill will show the GST charged.

4. Delivery and takeaway

  • We deliver only within our delivery area, measured from our kitchen. The Order page checks your address before you pay. Subscriptions have their own, usually wider, area.
  • Delivery and ready times are estimates. Traffic, weather and rush hours can delay an order; we keep you updated in the app.
  • Share your 4-digit Delivery OTP with the delivery person only when the food is in your hands.
  • Please give a correct address and a phone number we can reach. Freshly cooked food cannot be resold, so if delivery fails because the address was wrong or nobody could be reached, we may not be able to refund the order.
  • For takeaway, collect your order from our Bachupally kitchen around the ready time.
  • We may pause delivery for a while (for example, when no delivery person is available). The Order page then shows a notice and takeaway stays open.

5. Subscriptions

  • A subscription is a meal plan paid in advance for a week, a month or longer. Each plan shows its price, meal time and delivery days before you start.
  • We check every request (dishes, choices and address) before you pay. If we cannot serve you, we tell you why and nothing is charged.
  • You can skip a day, change your choices or plan a pause until 9 pm the day before. A skipped, paused or holiday day is added to the end of your plan, so you never lose a paid meal.
  • We remind you before your plan renews. If you renew late, the new period starts from the day you pay.
  • You can cancel at any time from My Subscription. Meals you paid for but have not received are refunded pro-rata to your original payment method within 7 working days of cancelling.
  • If we have to stop a plan (for example, we can no longer deliver to your address), we refund every unused paid meal in full.

6. Food safety, allergens and storage

  • Food is cooked fresh in our registered home kitchen following FSSAI hygiene requirements.
  • Each dish is marked vegetarian (green) or non-vegetarian (red). Vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are cooked in the same kitchen.
  • Our food may contain, or come into contact with, common allergens such as milk, nuts, wheat (gluten), mustard and sesame. If you have an allergy, tell us in the order note before ordering and ask us anything; we cannot promise any dish is free of a particular allergen.
  • Home-cooked food is best eaten within 2 hours of delivery. If you keep it longer, refrigerate it and reheat it thoroughly before eating.

7. Problems with an order

If your order is wrong, incomplete, spilt or not up to standard, tell us as soon as possible, ideally within 2 hours of delivery, with your order number and a photo. We will replace the item or refund it. Details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Coupons and offers

  • Each coupon or offer shows its value, minimum order and any expiry. Unless it says otherwise, one coupon applies per order.
  • Coupons have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
  • We may cancel a coupon used by mistake or through misuse, such as creating many accounts.

9. Your account and fair use

  • Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for orders placed from your account.
  • Please don't place fake orders, abuse our kitchen or delivery staff, or try to interfere with the app. We may suspend an account that does.

10. Reviews

Reviews must be honest and about your own experience. We do not pay for reviews or hide genuine ones. We may remove reviews that are abusive, false, or contain personal details of others.

11. Our name and content

Our name, logo, photos, menu text and app design belong to Annapoorna Home Kitchen. Please don't copy them for commercial use without our written permission.

12. Responsibility

  • Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or limits our responsibility for unsafe food or for harm caused by our negligence.
  • For other problems with an order, our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
  • We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, strikes, government restrictions or a breakdown of internet or payment services. If you paid for something we could not deliver because of such an event, we refund it.

If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.
